Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ervina Education LLC ("Ervina Education," "we," "us") handles information for the FrontBoard™ website and FrontBoard Teacher service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, school/organization details, account role, and authentication/security records.
- Teacher-created content: classes, schedules, Learning Intentions, Success Criteria, lesson content, display settings, and related workspace configuration.
- Billing records: plan, subscription status, billing identifiers, invoice/payment status, and limited payment metadata supplied by our payment processor. FrontBoard does not receive or store the full payment-card number entered during secure checkout.
- Support communications: messages, replies, ticket status, and information you choose to provide when requesting help.
- Technical and security information: session information, device/display-hub identifiers, service logs, IP/network information, error data, and security/audit events needed to operate and protect the service.
2. Student data
FrontBoard is designed for teachers and schools, not student accounts. The core service does not require student accounts, rosters, names, email addresses, student IDs, grades, attendance records, or student profiles. Users should not enter student personally identifiable information into FrontBoard.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure FrontBoard, authenticate users, synchronize classroom displays, process subscriptions, deliver service and security email, provide support, maintain audit/recovery records, diagnose problems, and improve reliability.
4. Service providers
We use service providers for infrastructure/hosting, payment processing, email delivery, monitoring, security, and related operations. They receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform those services and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
5. Retention
We retain account, workspace, billing, support, security, and backup information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate FrontBoard, protect the service, resolve disputes, maintain business records, comply with law, and support recovery. Security-audit retention is configured separately from normal account content. When information is deleted from the active service, residual copies may remain temporarily in normal backup rotation.
6. Security
FrontBoard uses encrypted HTTPS connections for production web traffic and maintains technical controls for authentication, access control, audit logging, secrets handling, backups, and recovery. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may request help with account information, correction, access, deletion, privacy questions, or other applicable privacy rights by emailing support@ervina.org. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Instructions for permanently deleting a FrontBoard account and associated deletable data are available at ervina.org/account-deletion.
8. Children and student accounts
FrontBoard Teacher is intended for educators and authorized school personnel. We do not offer student accounts as part of the core FrontBoard service and do not knowingly solicit children to create FrontBoard Teacher accounts.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy as FrontBoard evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
